1. Generic - An unbranded version of a manufactured device, usually a copy of the OEM version.
2. Generic Toner Kit - An unbranded version of an OEM toner kit, manufactured by a third party to OEM Specifications.
3. Ghosting - An erroneous condition where an object or letter is repeated down the length of the page at even intervals as either a light or dark relative to the surrounding image. This generally often occurs when a fine gray scale follows a large black pattern.

6. Grayscale - The various shades of gray experienced between the extremes of black and white. Each individual shade of gray is treated as a different color as each shade is unique. Most software programs or hardware devices support l6 or 256 shades of gray, whereas monochrome printers and monitors only show light and dark, with nothing in between and hence do not support shades of gray.
