1. Kb - Acronym for Kilobyte, which, technically being 1024 bytes, is actually slightly greater than a Kilo, or 1000. This oftens explains the initial confusion when a customer buys a storage device such as a hard disk advertised as X amount of storage that display on the computer as slightly less than the X amount. Usually, dividing X by 1024 rather than 1000 will explain the difference.

2. Kerning - The adjusting of the spacing between characters in proportional fonts to make them visually more consistent and so more attractive. Fixed space fonts do not require kerning.

3. Kerning Pair - Kerning or spacing information used for proportional fonts and some pairs of characters that are typically spaced close together.

4. Keyboard Mapping, Keyboard Layout - Also known as character mapping, this is a table mapping which character is activated when a specific key on the keyboard is pressed. Different operating systems and/or languages have different keyboard maps.
